Donate
We must depend on federal, state and private donations in order to meet the needs of those receiving our services. Increased income is essential if the Council on Aging is to:
- Strengthen the support services and programs we provide to seniors in our community
- Invest in the general welfare of our aging population
- Set the standard for public service
- Maintain the COA and remain competitive with other agencies providing social services to senior clients
- Establish achievable annual fundraising goals
- Provide quality service and programs
- Have the protection of a reliable source of income—a ”safety net”—so that the agency can continue to flourish despite fluctuations in the economic climate and in the face of unforeseen but inevitable events.
If you are in position to do so, please consider making a donation to the Council on Aging. Donations can be made to the COA in general or to a specific program such as Meals on Wheels, Transportation, Senior Centers or Adult Day Healthcare.
One of the ways people can support the mission of the COA is by remembering our agency in estate planning. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss the various instruments of legacy giving with you.
